I lived in virginia all my life and the only place I saw flooding was in Norfolk. Granted, I lived in the Fredericksburg area most of that time and only the Norfolk area since 2015.
Chesapeake here, a high tide followed by heavy rain can put some of our streets underwater where I lived for a bit. The people shrugged like nbd this happens sometimes??

It just never stops raining. everything is saturated. We have had about 5 days this summer that it hasnt rained. 5 may be too generous, more like 3.
Gotta love walking into the grocery store with pretty much clear skies, then walking out ten minutes later into a torrential downpour.
Pretty much sums it up, leave work at 5 and before you can make it home it’s started raining, flooded, and back to sunny again

We’ve been dry out here in the Valley. At least around Woodstock. Farmers have been looking for rain and we’ve seen a decent amount here recently.
